The item features a soft toe with KEEN.PROTECT soft toe caps that meet or exceed ASTM F2892 EH standards for protection against minor impacts. However, it does not have a secondary crush resistance material.

It is also waterproof thanks to the KEEN.DRY membrane liner, which allows vapor to escape while keeping water out to ensure dry and comfortable feet. The boot integrates a liner with the waterproof membrane for added protection.

For improved traction, the boot has oil- and slip-resistant, non-marking, siped rubber outsoles that meet or exceed ASTM F1677-96 and F2913 SATRA standards.

In terms of underfoot protection, this footwear is Electrical Hazard (EH)-rated as a secondary source of protection in case of accidental contact with live electrical circuits.
